We work closely alongside our suppliers to ensure that they are reliable and that their products are made ethically as well as them being fully compliant with the laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate. This provides protection to us and our customers in the event of a breach of regulation in the supply chain.
Our Approach
Lunar Steel currently works with numerous suppliers. Good partnerships between our suppliers and us are essential to fulfill our pledge to deliver high quality steel to our valued customers. To ensure this continues to happen, we are constantly striving to create more collaborative relationships, make our business more adaptable and ensure a increased return on invested capital for all partners.
We aim to collaborate with suppliers to achieve greater international business opportunities for all. We take practical approaches to make it easier for suppliers, current and new, to work more effectively with us. These include:
1. Working together on growth
We look for suppliers who innovate and help us grow. In return we seek to build mutually beneficial, long term relationships that benefit those suppliers.
2. Innovating in partnership
We regularly host supplier conferences and events to share growth opportunities and business plans. This helps suppliers identify where they can add the most value for mutual success.
3. Improving our relationships
As part of an ongoing process, we conduct regular independent, anonymous surveys. They help us improve our performance and address any concerns.
